summer clouds

how my mood changes

after every scan

 

the charred willow

keeps reaching for the sky

summer rain

 

end of summer

the sudden burst

of snap weed seeds

 

the city darkens

lights turn on

lights turn off

 

high in the trees

a nervous rustle

thunderclouds

 

dead end street

my feet keep repeating

the echo

 

this snail

came all the way till here

just like me

 

nameless graves

in the shadow of the lighthouse 

the sea whispers
